New forms of media publishing must be addressed our move toward taking literacy into the electronic era. Kress (1997) indicated that electronic era are connected with technology, communication and society, news forms of media publishing changes in forms of communication
The characterize is the present as follow:
1. blogging- visuals to accompany the linguistic text , eg, facebook
Facebook is a easy searching and gathering with friends, it can see a news feed in your network of contact person. Get it close with your friends' statuts and or send it message to not often contact person. Perhaps, you don't want people to search yourself. You can adjust privacy settings so that others can't find you, but that tends to defeat the purpose of a social networking site.
2. Online newspaper , eg) SCMP.com

3.online TV news, eg) (http://top-online.tv/tv-channels/live-news/)
Sound, visual and speech are required in high level of multi-modal competence. Television is information in the form of images, though the film and video footage which make up so much of the television news does have sound as another important element; and speech is used to do the 'presenting' (Kress, 1997)
4. Youtube, eg) Nikon D700. Youtube can be share the product in world wide. Youtube not only put in the blogging, and also online newspaper...etc. Display music and picture are clear.
